PUBLIC HEARING 
FY 2024 OPERATING BUDGET
JULY 10, 2023

There will be a public hearing on the general operating budget of Bamberg County School District 3 for FY 2024 on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Bamberg County School District 3 – District Office (62 Holly Ave., Denmark, SC 29042).  The total revenues from the current operating fiscal year's budget of the governing entity are $20,461,909.46.  The total expenditures from the current operating fiscal year's budget of the governing entity are $20,461,909.46.  The proposed total projected revenue for the next fiscal year as estimated in next year's budget is $22,980,644.86.  The proposed total projected expenditure for the next fiscal year as estimated in next year's budget is $22,980,644.86.  The operating millage, per Consolidation Legislation R115,S771, will be set by the SC Department of Revenue.  The proposed or estimated percentage change in estimated operating budgets between the current fiscal year and the proposed budget is 12.3%. 

The budget is subject to change based on the final appropriations bill passed by the General Assembly and the Board of Trustees.  The regular meeting of the Bamberg County School District 3 Board of Trustees will be at 6:00 p.m., after the Public Budget Hearing. On the agenda of the meeting will be adoption of the FY 2024 operating budget.
